Adding USD using Pre-Authorized Debits, PAD (for USD accounts based in Canada only)
Step 1: Go to Venn "Dashboards"
Step 2: From the side menu bar, select "Add money"
Step 3: From the dropdown menu, select "Linked bank account"
Step 4: Select your linked bank account and add funds. You’ll receive an email with the estimated arrival date. In some cases, it may take an extra business day for bank clearance.
Receiving USD using Automated Clearing House, ACH
Step 1: Go to Venn "Dashboards"
Step 2: Select "USD Account"
Step 3: Select "ACH"
Step 4: Select "Documents"
Step 5: Select "Download account details [PDF]" and share your ACH account payment details. Once your sender initiates the transfer, funds will arrive within 1 business day (excluding weekends and public holidays). Note: ACH and FedWire are different, and sending a Fedwire instead of ACH will cause the transfer to fail.
Receiving USD using Fedwire
Step 1: Go to Venn "Dashboards"
Step 2: Select "USD Account"
Step 3: Select "Fedwire"
Step 4: Select "Documents"
Step 5: Select "Download account details [PDF]" and share your ACH account payment details. Once your sender initiates the transfer, funds will arrive within 1 business day (excluding weekends and public holidays). Note: ACH and Fedwire are different, and sending an ACH instead of Fedwire will cause the transfer to fail.
Receiving USD using Wire (SWIFT)
Step 1: Go to Venn "Dashboards"
Step 2: Select "USD Account"
Step 3: Select "Wire (SWIFT)"
Step 4: Select "Documents"
Step 5: Select "Download account details [PDF]" and share your Wire (SWIFT) account payment details. Once your sender initiates the transfer, funds will arrive within 1 business day (excluding weekends and public holidays).
