What happens if the Interac e-Transfer I had sent is not received, rejected, or not accepted?

If the recipient is unable to receive the Interac e-Transfer, rejects it, or does not accept it, the transaction status in your Venn account will show as “Pending.” The funds will automatically be returned to your account within 7 days which is after the expiration of the payment request. We will credit your account as soon as we receive the funds back from the recipient’s bank. No further action is required on your part.
