How do I send funds from RBC to Venn?

RBC doesn’t currently support setting up a recipient for Wire (SWIFT) with a Canadian business address when the recipient bank is located overseas—an outdated limitation that some traditional banks still have. Regardless, here’s how you can still set up Venn as a recipient on RBC:

1. Select “International” as the transfer type.

2. Use your legal business name and the Wire (SWIFT) account number from your Venn account details.

3. Use the same UK-based address of our banking partner, Currency Cloud, for both the recipient address (your business) and the recipient bank address (Venn).

This method has worked reliably for other RBC users, and we’re actively working to simplify business banking for Canadian businesses like yours in the future.
