If I schedule a transfer with a specific start date, will the recipient receive the payment on that date or later?

The payment will be sent on the scheduled date you selected. However, when the recipient actually receives the funds depends on the payment method you choose:

• Interac e-Transfer: Instantly or within minutes

• EFT, ACH, SEPA, UK Faster Payments, Wire (SWIFT): Within 1 business day

So while the transfer is initiated on the scheduled date, the delivery time varies depending on the method used only after the payment has been instructed as you have scheduled.
