If I schedule a transfer with a specific start date, will the recipient receive the payment on that date or later?

The payment will be sent on the scheduled date you selected. However, when the recipient actually receives the funds depends on the payment method you choose:

• Interac e-Transfer: Sent and received immediately

• EFT, ACH, SEPA, UK Faster Payments: Typically received within 1 business day

• Wire Transfer (SWIFT): May take up to 2 business days or longer

So while the transfer is initiated on the scheduled date, the delivery time varies depending on the method used only after the payment has been instructed as you have scheduled.
