How to avoid failed transfers due to payment method mismatch?

The payment method must match the corresponding account payment details for a transfer to be successful. Use the correct details based on your transfer type:

  • EFT → EFT account details

  • ACH → ACH account details

  • Fedwire → Fedwire account details

  • SEPA → SEPA account details

  • UK Faster Payments → UK Faster Payments account details

  • Wire (SWIFT) → Wire (SWIFT) account details

If the payment method and account payment details don’t match, the transfer will fail and your funds will be returned within 5–10 business days.
