When you first added your recipient in Venn, you would have set a security question and answer required for Interac e-Transfers. While Venn doesn’t prompt you to re-enter this each time, it’s still attached to the transfer.
To view the security question, go to "Venn Recipients", then select the specific recipient. Unfortunately, for security reasons, the answer you originally set cannot be viewed again. You can, however, update it for future transfers.
If you’ve forgotten the answer for an Interac e-Transfer already sent, you may be able to cancel the transfer. To do this, go to "Venn Transactions", find the Interac e-Transfer, and check if the cancel option is available. This usually appears one hour after the transfer is sent and if the transfer hasn’t been accepted. If it’s still unclaimed after 24 hours, it will be automatically cancelled and the funds returned to your account.
