Can I get a refund if I decide not to proceed with the Venn “Incorporation Product”?

  • Before payment: You are not charged until your application is completed and submitted.

  • After payment, before ID verification: The incorporation process does not start until your ID verification is complete. If you’ve already paid but haven’t completed ID verification, you can request a refund anytime by emailing support@venn.ca with the subject line: [Account] Request to cancel incorporation of business. If ID verification isn’t completed within 14 days, we’ll automatically refund your payment to your original method.

  • After ID verification, before filing: If you’ve completed ID verification but the incorporation filing has not yet gone through, we may attempt to cancel the filing and request a refund from the government on your behalf. Please email support@venn.ca with the subject line: [Account] Request to cancel incorporation of business.

  • After filing is complete: Once your incorporation is successfully filed, or if it was rejected by the government, refunds are not possible because the government fees ($200 Federal or $300 Ontario) have already been paid. Venn can help you address issues with a rejected application, but re-approval is not guaranteed.
