Why doesn’t my Venn account appear in the Bank Feed in QuickBooks or Xero?

Venn’s Accounting integration does not use the Bank Feed (yet). We’re actively working toward this, but for now your Venn accounts will appear in Chart of Accounts, not the bank feed.

How balances update

  • The balance is not real-time

  • It updates only when you sync transactions from Venn

  • Each sync reconciles your accounting balance to the completed transactions in your Venn account

What you need to do

  1. Go to Venn → Accounting

  2. Click Sync transactions

  3. This imports completed activity such as:

    • Incoming funds transfers

    • Outgoing funds transfers

    • Card purchases

Why there may be a delay

Transactions must first reach a Completed status in Venn before they can sync, so your accounting balance may temporarily differ from your live Venn balance.

In short: Venn currently works as a sync-to-ledger integration (Chart of Accounts), not a live bank feed connection.
