Sending CAD payments via EFT
Step 1: Log into WealthSimple and select the funds transfer icon
Step 2: Select "Receive a wire"
Step 3: Select a chequing account
Step 4: Select "CAD"
Step 5: Note the EFT details of your WealthSimple chequing account namely:
Institution number
Transit / Branch number
Beneficiary details
Step 6: Create a recipient, add the payment method noted from WealthSimple and add a simple message like "Fund own WealthSimple chequing account" before you send the transfer
Sending CAD or USD payments via Wire SWIFT
Step 1: Log into WealthSimple and select the funds transfer icon
Step 2: Select "Receive a wire"
Step 3: Select a chequing account
Step 4: Note the Wire SWIFT details namely:
Account number (only numerics are allowed, if the account number starts with WK*********** or HQ***********, this account number doesn't support receipt of Wire SWIFT)
SWIFT code
Step 5: Create a recipient, add the payment method with details noted from Step 4
