How do I add or receive funds to my Venn account?

Adding CAD using Pre-Authorized Debits, PAD

  • Step 1: Go to Venn "Dashboards"

  • Step 2: From the side menu bar, select "Add money"

  • Step 3: From the dropdown menu, select "Linked bank account"

  • Step 4: Select your linked bank account and add funds. You’ll receive an email with the estimated arrival date. In some cases, it may take an extra business day for bank clearance.

Receiving CAD using Interac e-Transfer Auto Deposit

  • Step 1: Go to Venn "Dashboards"

  • Step 2: Select "CAD Account"

  • Step 3: Select "Interac e-Transfer"

  • Step 4: Select "Documents"

  • Step 5: Select "Download account details [PDF]" and share your Venn-linked Interac email. Once your sender initiates the transfer, the funds will arrive instantly into your Venn account.

Receiving CAD using Electronic Funds Transfer, EFT

  • Step 1: Go to Venn "Dashboards"

  • Step 2: Select "CAD Account"

  • Step 3: Select "EFT"

  • Step 4: Select "Documents"

  • Step 5: Select "Download account details [PDF]" and share your EFT account payment details. Once your sender initiates the transfer, funds will arrive within 1 business day (excluding weekends and public holidays). Note: EFT and Wire (SWIFT) are different, and sending a Wire instead of EFT will cause the transfer to fail.

Receiving CAD using Wire (SWIFT)

  • Step 1: Go to Venn "Dashboards"

  • Step 2: Select "CAD Account"

  • Step 3: Select "Wire (SWIFT)"

  • Step 4: Select "Documents"

  • Step 5: Select "Download account details [PDF]" and share your Wire (SWIFT) account payment details. Once your sender initiates the transfer, funds will arrive within 1 business day (excluding weekends and public holidays). Note: EFT and Wire (SWIFT) are different, and sending an EFT instead of Wire will cause the transfer to fail.

Receiving USD using Automated Clearing House, ACH

  • Step 1: Go to Venn "Dashboards"

  • Step 2: Select "USD Account"

  • Step 3: Select "ACH"

  • Step 4: Select "Documents"

  • Step 5: Select "Download account details [PDF]" and share your ACH account payment details. Once your sender initiates the transfer, funds will arrive within 1 business day (excluding weekends and public holidays). Note: ACH and FedWire are different, and sending a Fedwire instead of ACH will cause the transfer to fail.

Receiving USD using Fedwire

  • Step 1: Go to Venn "Dashboards"

  • Step 2: Select "USD Account"

  • Step 3: Select "Fedwire"

  • Step 4: Select "Documents"

  • Step 5: Select "Download account details [PDF]" and share your ACH account payment details. Once your sender initiates the transfer, funds will arrive within 1 business day (excluding weekends and public holidays). Note: ACH and Fedwire are different, and sending an ACH instead of Fedwire will cause the transfer to fail.

Receiving USD using Wire (SWIFT)

  • Step 1: Go to Venn "Dashboards"

  • Step 2: Select "USD Account"

  • Step 3: Select "Wire (SWIFT)"

  • Step 4: Select "Documents"

  • Step 5: Select "Download account details [PDF]" and share your Wire (SWIFT) account payment details. Once your sender initiates the transfer, funds will arrive within 1 business day (excluding weekends and public holidays).

Receiving GBP using UK Faster Payments

  • Step 1: Go to Venn "Dashboards"

  • Step 2: Select "GBP Account"

  • Step 3: Select "UK Faster Payments"

  • Step 4: Select "Documents"

  • Step 5: Select "Download account details [PDF]" and share your GBP account payment details. Once your sender initiates the transfer, funds will arrive within 1 business day (excluding weekends and public holidays).

Receiving GBP using Wire (SWIFT)

  • Step 1: Go to Venn "Dashboards"

  • Step 2: Select "GBP Account"

  • Step 3: Select "Wire (SWIFT)"

  • Step 4: Select "Documents"

  • Step 5: Select "Download account details [PDF]" and share your Wire (SWIFT) account payment details. Once your sender initiates the transfer, funds will arrive within 1 business day (excluding weekends and public holidays).

Receiving EUR using Single Euro Payments Area, SEPA

  • Step 1: Go to Venn "Dashboards"

  • Step 2: Select "EUR Account"

  • Step 3: Select "SEPA"

  • Step 4: Select "Documents"

  • Step 5: Select "Download account details [PDF]" and share your EUR account payment details. Once your sender initiates the transfer, funds will arrive within 1 business day (excluding weekends and public holidays).

Receiving EUR using Wire (SWIFT)

  • Step 1: Go to Venn "Dashboards"

  • Step 2: Select "EUR Account"

  • Step 3: Select "Wire (SWIFT)"

  • Step 4: Select "Documents"
