Why am I seeing “Cannot use this phone number” when switching 2FA from Email to SMS?

If you see this message, it could be for one of the following reasons:

1. Your phone number is not from the US or Canada, which is required for SMS 2FA.

2. Your phone number is already being used for 2FA by another Venn user.

Each phone number can only be linked to one user for 2FA. Kindly unlink the phone number from the other account or use another phone number.
