For card purchases made in CAD, your Venn Mastercard will only pull funds from your Venn CAD account. If your CAD balance is insufficient, the transaction will be declined—even if you have funds in USD, GBP, or EUR.
For purchases in USD, GBP, or EUR, your Venn Mastercard will first check the corresponding currency account. If there aren’t enough funds, it will automatically check your CAD account and convert the amount using Venn’s competitive FX rates.
For purchases in other currencies, your Venn Mastercard will use your CAD account only. If there’s enough CAD, we’ll convert the funds at our competitive FX rates.
