When you use your card outside of Canada, it will automatically match the transaction currency with your available account balances:
1. If you have enough funds in your USD, GBP, or EUR account, the transaction will be processed in that currency.
2. If there are insufficient funds, the transaction will default to your CAD account and be processed in Canadian dollars.
This ensures your payment goes through smoothly, but currency conversion fees will apply if the transaction defaults to CAD.
